Lake Tabeaud

A good place for walkers, joggers, canoe and kayakers and those who like to fish. A quiet place for picnicing and bird-watching. Department of Fish and Game plants this lake once or twice a year, beginning mostly in the spring.

Fish along the banks in this peaceful and quiet setting with shade from surrounding Oaks. Day-use only. Picnic area. Species of fish: rainbow trout, and brown trout.

No motor boats, no swimming or overnite camping.
Open year round.

From Highway 49 in Jackson, turn east on Clinton Road. 5 miles, turn right on Tabeaud Road, 1.4 miles to entrance.
