It’s official! Saturday, April 10, 2021 is the big day! Knight Foundry will be open to the public 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Come back to visit and explore Amador County’s historic industrial crown jewel. Talk with expert docents and watch them demonstrate the magnificent machinery. Marvel as hot metal is poured and crafted in the foundry, and see the antique forge in action in newly restored Blacksmith Shop.
Because space is limited due to COVID-19 guidance, advance tickets are recommended. Guests can use the QR code to access the order form, or visit the Tours & Events page at www.knightfoundry.com. Depending on advance sales, tickets will be available at the door.
“The safety and health of both visitors and volunteers are a top priority to make the reopening a success,” said Wade Worsham, Knight Foundry Alliance tours director. “Guests will be asked to confirm their health status when they arrive, and to wear a face covering and use hand sanitizer throughout their visit. Physical distancing will be observed throughout the facility.”
Admission is $15 for adults 18 and older, $5 for students age 5-17, free for children under 5 and Knight Foundry Alliance members. Knight Foundry is at 81 Eureka Street, Sutter Creek CA 95685. For more information visit Knight Foundry on Facebook, email email@example.com, or phone 209-560-6160.
