Supporting all artist -- visual, performing, media, and beyond -- Amador County Arts Council works throughout the community to advocate for the arts in a variety of ways.
- We partner with local schools to provide free-of-charge, standard-based arts education to students K-12.
- We offer free space and supplies to all youth and adult artists to be creative Monday through Friday from 4-6pm.
- We present art exhibits highlighting historically marginalized communities.
- We also host free Open Mic night, Storyteller Guild, and the County Poet Laureate program. Plus, for over 21 years Amador County Arts Council has provided free concerts in the parks.
- We provide supportive funding grants to local classrooms and arts organizations and we give scholarships to graduating seniors pursuing the arts in college.
