Experience the tranquil beauty of the Sierra Foothills wine growing region at Rombauer's Tasting Room in Plymouth, in the heart of Amador County. Surrounded by tall trees and lush landscaping, our Sierra Foothills Tasting Room features spacious indoor and outdoor spaces, including a tasting bar, shaded patio, wine available by the glass or bottle, and a shady lawn ideal for tasting and picnicking. Stroll the grounds and enjoy a flight of Rombauer wines with our friendly and knowledgeable hosts. You'll taste locally-sourced and produced Zinfandels from Rombauer's estate and grower vineyards in the Sierra Foothills, as well as our tried and true favorites from Carneros, Sonoma and Napa Valley.
We offer tastings by appointment from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Our last appointment/pour is 4:30 pm. Pre-packaged cheese, charcuterie, crackers and jams available to take home or enjoy on the patio during your visit.
Our Tasting Room will be closed Sunday, June 9th; Thursday, July 4th, for Independence Day; Thursday, November 28th, for Thanksgiving; Tuesday, December 24th for Christmas Eve; Wednesday, December 25th, for Christmas Day; and Wednesday, January 1st for New Years Day.
