Mother Lode Friends of Music presents a Midsummer Concert of beautiful classical music and rousing show tunes featuring soprano Christine Cosbey accompanied by pianist Jason Jeffrey, Sunday, June 29, 2025, 3:00 pm at the Sutter Creek Theater, Sutter Creek.
Christine Cosbey will perform Baroque selections including “Se tu m’ami se sospiri” (Pergolesi), “Ave Maria” (Bach/Gounod), and Broadway selections “Til There Was You” (from the musical, Music Man), and “Think of Me” (from the Phantom of the Opera)! Christine teaches music at St. Michael Catholic School, Livermore, and is a soloist at her Catholic Church in Moraga for mass, weddings and funerals. Earlier this year, she played the role of “Mother” in Amahl and the Night Visitors, with the Golden Gate Boys Choir. She also sings for the homebound so they can hear their favorite songs.
Jason Jeffrey performs throughout the Mother Lode region. He is a returning performer for the Mother Lode Friends of Music and an accomplished accompanist. He teaches at the Reeder Music Academy in Danville.
The Sutter Creek Theatre, 44 Main Street, Sutter Creek, is an intimate setting for these accomplished musicians. Please join the Mother Lode Friends of Music for a summer afternoon of beautiful music. Admission to the concert is free.
