Over 20 local artists will exhibit and sell their work during the free Art in Amador Show at the Sutter Creek Auditorium, 18 Main Street. Sponsored by the Amador County Artists Association (ACAA), the event runs Saturday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, October 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Visitors can meet artists, see demonstrations, paintings, photography, notecards, jewelry, prints, ceramics, watercolor, drawings, mixed media, woodwork and wearable art.
Each artist donated an original piece of art for a raffle supporting the ACAA Scholarship Fund for graduating seniors from the county’s high schools who plan to continue art studies. Raffle tickets are $1 each, you can put your ticket toward whatever art you like. Good luck! Should be fun!
